As a Microwave Engineer, you will be a key part of Reach’s RF engineering team and develop state of the art systems that are integral to Reach’s wireless power beaming capability. Your technical know-how and innovation skills are key to designing cutting edge products in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to design, simulation and implementation of power amplifiers and other components and subsystems at microwave frequencies. As an engineer in a small company, you will have a great deal of agency over your work, plenty of opportunity to discover and solve new challenges, and the ability to make large-impact decisions.</span></div><br><br><h3>Key Position Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Contribute to the design, simulation and implementation of distributed-element components.</li><li>Contribute to the integration with antenna, and antenna arrays.</li><li>Design and implement high efficiency power amplifiers at high frequency from 5GHz to 24GHz.</li><li>Investigate, study, and introduce new components and subsystems.</li><li>Contribute to system level integration with other system owners (EE, firmware, mechanical).</li><li>Support product manufacturing bring up.</li><li>Support certification testing and field testing.</li><li>Design documentation.</li><li>Write component test plans and contribute to system test plans.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Electrical Engineering degree (Master preferred).</li><li>2+ years of experience as a microwave engineer or equivalent.</li><li>Experience using ADS and HFSS.</li><li>Experience with PCB layout techniques for distributed-element components implementation.</li><li>Experience is developing hardware and testing for some or all of the following: Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, RF to DC power conversion.</li><li>In-depth understanding of safety EMI and EMC compliance and certification.</li><li>Experience using spectrum analyzer, VNA, signal generator, oscilloscope, and logic analyzer.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate complex concepts.</li></ul><h3>Nice-To-Haves</h3><ul><li>Experience with developing PAs and microwave distributed-element components.</li><li>Hands-on experience with bring up and troubleshooting of high-power microwave chains and beam forming steering systems.</li></ul><br><div><b>Reach - Who We Are</b></div><div><br></div><div>Reach is a pioneer in a new frontier of technology.
