<div>Last Energy seeks a versatile professional to source, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions and special projects. This role will work on M&amp;A deals, debt offerings, JV agreements, project finance, sales channel partnerships, and other high-impact initiatives. These bespoke finance-oriented projects will require both modeling expertise and sharp judgment to identify edge-case risks and structure favorable terms. You'll work directly with our CEO/CFO and alongside our VP of Corporate Development to execute company-defining deals.</div><br><br><h3>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Source, evaluate, and lead M&amp;A, debt financings, JV structures, project finance, and strategic partnerships </li><li>Build financial models and conduct scenario analysis</li><li>Identify contractual risks and negotiate key terms</li><li>Drive transactions from sourcing to close and integration</li><li>Structure innovative commercial and financial arrangements with Fortune 500 customers, infrastructure investors, and government entities</li><li>Execute special finance projects across the organization including capital raising efforts, institutional investor relations, credit facilities, and government financing programs</li><li>Build and maintain stakeholder relationships</li><li>Partner with CEO/CFO on strategic planning and translate engineering/regulatory complexity into executable business strategy</li><li>Mentor junior team members and establish best-in-class processes</li><li>Additional duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field</li><li>10+ years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development including 2 years in investment banking (M&amp;A, capital markets)</li><li>Post-banking investing experience (energy/infrastructure funds), corporate development at energy companies, portfolio company leadership, or entrepreneurial ventures (4-8+ years)</li><li>Track record of executing M&amp;A and capital market transactions highly valued</li><li>Advanced modeling and valuation skills</li><li>Deep domain knowledge in power, energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors</li><li>Strong business judgment and a keen eye for identifying hidden risks and edge-case scenarios</li><li>Proven ability to structure favorable terms in complex negotiations</li><li>Track record of commitment to organizational goals and seeing initiatives through to completion</li><li>Versatile operator comfortable with M&amp;A, debt offerings, JV agreements, project finance, sales channel partnerships, and special projects</li><li>Energetic, relationship-oriented, and adaptable</li><li>Disciplined, thorough, and extremely focused when needed</li><li>Missionary not mercenary - genuinely excited about nuclear mission</li><li>Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.</li></ul><br>
