SUMMARYAs a PV Designer (CAD), you're the digital architect behind our engineering projects. Your proficiency in CAD tools brings blueprints to life and ensures precise, detailed plans. Join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming concepts into tangible structures that shape our future.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Provide construction document production support</li><li>Coordinate with various design team disciplines including civil engineers, structural engineers, and surveyors</li><li>PVSyst/ CAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, single line diagrams, construction details, equipment, and conduit details etc.</li><li>Create wiring/cable schedule-based takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers and engineers</li><li>Maintain awareness and knowledge of EVS design/CAD standards and provide input for improvement</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Associates Degree or Technical School Certificate in Electrical Design, Solar Design, Architectural/Engineering Drafting, or related degree</li><li>2-5 years of experience in the drafting/design of electrical power/distribution systems</li><li>1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel</li><li>Must have proficiency in PVSyst/ CAD </li><li>Experience and knowledge of basic electrical design concepts</li><li>Working knowledge and ability to read construction drawings and specifications</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills</li><li>Strong work ethic and a positive attitude is</li><li>Must be a supportive team member, able to work in a collaborative environment</li><li>Self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadline</li></ul>
