Work alongside engineers, operators, and builders in a fast-moving, hands-on environment that values clarity, trust, and getting things done.</li></ul> What you’ll doDesign &amp; Development<ul><li>Lead the design and development of components and integrated systems for stringing systems and related Infravision products.</li><li>Ensure functionality, reliability and Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles are embedded from concept through to production.</li><li>Conduct engineering analysis and simulations including stress, thermal and finite element analysis (FEA).</li><li>Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.</li><li>Provide accurate project estimates for timeframes and development costs.</li><li>Insure designs meet relevant industrial specifications and customer requirements(IEEE, ASME, etc.)</li><li>Complete HAZOP/HAZID/FMECA to verify safety, and fault-safe nature of designs. </li></ul>Prototyping, Testing &amp; Validation<ul><li>Participate in prototype builds, testing and validation activities.</li><li>Write and execute test plans and procedures for development and manufacturing validation.</li><li>Analyse test data and implement iterative design improvements.</li><li>Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for design-related issues.</li><li>Coordinate engineering support for lab testing and field validation activities.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Collaborate closely with customers, software engineers, product managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless subsystem integration.</li><li>Work with manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing teams to coordinate pilot production and product releases.</li><li>Resolve design and fabrication issues with vendors and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to the ongoing development of internal DFM guidelines and engineering standards.</li></ul>Customer &amp; Operational Support<ul><li>Provide engineering support to factory and customer support teams.</li><li>Engage directly with customers to identify opportunities for productivity, safety and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Maintain strong technical relationships with fabrication vendors and supply partners.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Maintain currency with relevant safety standards, compliance requirements and industry best practice.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across design processes, documentation and product performance.</li><li>Stay current with emerging materials, technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.</li></ul> What we are looking for<ul><li>Growth-minded: Experienced in their speciality field but  hungry for continuous  learning and improvement</li><li>Industry-seasoned: has already spent time supporting the electric power / cleantech industries</li><li>Self-starter: willing to dig into new concepts, make recommendations with limited information, and be highly effective with minimal direction and supervision</li><li>Systems thinker: a love for efficiency, ensuring that processes work well together to streamline commercial operations</li><li>Focused: we are a small team with many competing priorities.
