The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners to deliver robust and reliable mechanical solutions.Your tasks<ul><li>Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and enclosure structures based on project requirements and technical specifications.</li><li>Create and refine prototypes, conduct initial build and fitting activities, and support qualification of mechanical systems.</li><li>Develop test rigs and fixtures to validate mechanical performance, durability, and functionality.</li><li>Perform mechanical testing, document results, analyze data, and prepare detailed test reports.</li><li>Generate 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using tools such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and TeamCenter.</li><li>Select and define appropriate materials, fasteners, bearings, seals, and other mechanical elements.</li><li>Prepare manufacturing documentation, assembly instructions, and maintenance manuals to support production and service teams.</li><li>Ensure design solutions consider manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and serviceability, while coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing teams.</li><li>Support CE conformity procedures, perform risk assessments in line with ISO 12100, and contribute to safety-related machine evaluations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable mechanical, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.</li><li>Assist in patent research activities and IP-related tasks when required.</li><li>Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers, cross-site teams, and external partners to ensure integrated system development.</li><li>Support product lifecycle management activities, including maintenance, quality improvements, and technical issue resolution.</li><li>Prepare and review requirement specifications, functional descriptions, and technical documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate master data within ERP and PLM systems.</li><li>Continuously expand technical expertise through training programs, trade fairs, and international knowledge-sharing initiatives.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsYour profile<ul><li>Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or certified master/technician in mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification </li><li>Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, TeamCenter).</li><li>Experience in prototyping, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&amp;T application, and design for manufacturability principles.</li><li>Knowledge of sheet metal design, injection molding processes, mechanical drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is considered an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with SAP and PLM systems is desirable.</li><li>Good understanding of relevant standards, directives, and machinery regulations (e.g., CE marking, ISO machinery standards).</li><li>Experience with FEM analysis, simulation tools, and structured test validation methods is beneficial.</li><li>Self-motivated and structured working style with strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.</li><li>Strong interest in innovative technologies combined with practical engineering judgement.</li><li>Good written and spoken English skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel for business purposes, including international assignments when required.</li><li>Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is advantageous.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.</li></ul>We Offer<ul><li>A challenging role in an international, technology-driven organization.</li><li>Hands-on work with modern machines, SPMs, and advanced technologies.</li><li>Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, service, and digital domains.</li><li>An enthusiastic and motivated team with strong technical expertise.</li><li>Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
