Right now, we’re laying the foundation for our next wave of growth.  We’re looking for people who love being part of a diverse, global team – and who get excited about making a real-world impact with data.<h1>Job description</h1>Meet Our TeamWe represent Hitachi Vantara Global Support, providing Level 1 to Level 3, remote technical support to all of Hitachi Vantara customers. Working hand in hand with our field support and sustaining engineering teams, we help to provide end to end support for all our solutions for all market segments.This role is based in our Krakow office following a hybrid model (1 day per month in office) and offers structured training, professional growth, and the opportunity to work in a global, engineering‑driven support organisation.  What You’ll Do <ul><li>Provide remote technical support for enterprise storage, software, and infrastructure systems. </li><li>Troubleshoot configuration issues, product failures, and customer technical enquiries. </li><li>Own customer cases from initial triage to resolution or escalation. </li><li>Collaborate with global support, engineering, and services teams to resolve complex problems. </li><li>Maintain service levels and help manage inbound support queues. </li><li>Contribute to knowledge articles, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. </li><li>Participate in 24×7 global support operations (including occasional weekends/holidays). </li></ul>What You Bring <ul><li>Strong customer service focus and clear communication skills. </li><li>Solid problem‑solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. </li><li>Experience in two or more areas:   <ul><li>Enterprise storage (Hitachi/Dell/IBM) </li><li>Fibre Channel </li><li>NAS </li><li>IP networking (TCP/IP, AD) </li><li>Cloud platforms </li><li>Python / REST API </li><li>Windows, Linux, VMware </li><li>Enterprise apps (Veritas, MSCS, Oracle, Exchange) </li></ul></li><li>A self‑motivated, proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies. </li><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. </li></ul>Optional Practice‑Specific Skills <ul><li>Content (Object): HCP, middleware platforms, REST/Java troubleshooting, GUI troubleshooting, network stack L1–L7, PostgreSQL. </li><li>Software/Compute: OS platforms, hypervisors, converged infrastructure, enterprise apps, RAID. </li><li>HNAS: Filesystem protocols (CIFS/NFS), TCP/IP, Fibre Channel, C++, AD/DNS/LDAP, replication/dedupe.  </li></ul><h1>About us</h1>We’re a global team of innovators.
