Responsibilities / TasksAre you passionate about payroll, regulatory compliance, and personnel management? This is your opportunity to join our team in Berlin!<ul><li>Manage the (outsourced) payroll process for France, covering multiple legal entities.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and proper payroll record maintenance.</li><li>Keep GEA’s global and local policies up to date and integrated into the payroll process.</li><li>Work closely with local HRBPs and our central HR resource center in Berlin on daily tasks and provide support for projects.</li><li>Ensure timely payment of salaries, taxes, and applicable social security contributions.</li><li>Respond to employee inquiries, escalating questions and concerns when necessary.</li><li>Serve as a responsible backup in case of absences.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>University degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.</li><li>French native &amp; English fluent (C1 level).</li><li>Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office, Workday, and various HR systems.</li><li>Knowledge of PeopleNet Cegid tool, good Excel level</li><li>Knowledge of the Metallurgy Convention and labour law</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>We offer:<ul><li>A competitive and flexible compensation package</li><li>Work-life balance hybrid working model as a combination of home-office and working in the office </li><li>30 vacation days per year</li><li>Great work environment as part of a collaborative team  </li><li>Internal training and career development opportunities at national and international level.</li><li>The opportunity to be part of a Top Employer 2025-certified company.</li></ul>Kindly note that only applications submitted in English will be considered.Did we spark your interest?
