We want you to join us! </span></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Role Description</strong><br>As the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our technical, operations, facilities, and lab teams to maintain and improve a top-tier safety program and ethos throughout our expanding enterprise. Your primary responsibilities will encompass formulating and refining safety protocols for Via's headquarters and field sites. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for a candidate poised to structure and initiate an EHS management framework within a burgeoning startup context, while also being eager to actively implement EHS protocols and benchmarks.</div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities include:</h3><ul><li><p>Monitor compliance to regulations, policies, standards and procedures; conduct internal audits, including post-assessment summaries and corrective action plans. </p></li><li><p>Facilitate the root cause and corrective action process for EHS reported incidents. Support management in investigations of failures and accidents.
