<div> About the role Burn is looking for an EHS Manager who will be responsible for developing and enforcing policies that ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant factory. They will be tasked with assessing and mitigating risks, conducting audits, and leading initiatives to meet regulatory and sustainability standards. Additionally, they coordinate safety training, manage incident responses, and serve as the key liaison with government and regulatory bodies. Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;"><a>Design and deliver EHS&amp;S policies, procedures and management systems.</a></li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Conduct risk assessment process (FMEA, Health and Safety risks, Environmental aspects, and impacts) to mitigate risk.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Conduct and respond to health and safety assessment/analysis in the plant to minimise health and safety risks.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Establish the correct and safe methods of operations across the company by routinely reviewing safety and sustainability results with plant personnel to maximise facility performance.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Come up and ensure compliance with the appropriate OSHA standards to be applied in use of the company assets.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Advise management on appropriate measures and standards for the safety of company assets and resources.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Coordinate and communicate findings of internal and external audits to management, and ensure conformance is addressed and corrected according to schedule.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Coordinate and oversee the performance of security teams attached to Burn facilities and Burn assets</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Liaise/Point person on matters to do with EHS&amp;S both internally and externally (NEMA, county government well as Central government)</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Any other duties are directed by the supervisor.</li></ul> Skills and Experience<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">5–8 years of experience in EHS roles, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Relevant EHS&amp;S Certifications.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or energy sectors is highly preferred</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with EHS&amp;S software systems.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Strong understanding of EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001)</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ability to design and implement policies and procedures in line with local and international standards.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Skilled in developing and maintaining environmental and safety compliance programs</li></ul>                                                  Qualified Female Candidates encouraged to Apply BURN does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, processing, training, or any other fees).     </div>
