This role will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the Record to Report (RTR) process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization. Job Responsibilities: * Perform the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. * Prepare and post complex journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. * Oversee general ledger accounting, including intercompany transactions, accruals, and deferrals. * Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure data integrity. * Identify and implement process improvements within the RTR cycle to enhance efficiency and accuracy. * Participate in internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and support. * Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in the development of new control procedures. * Stay updated on relevant accounting pronouncements and regulatory changes. Job Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred. * Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in Record to Report accounting, preferably within a large multinational corporation. * Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles and practices. * Proficiency in financial accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. * Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in guiding junior team members. * Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.#LI-PN1<h1>About us  </h1>We’re a global, 1000-stong, diverse team of professional experts, promoting and delivering Social Innovation through our One Hitachi initiative (OT x IT x Product) and working on projects that have a real-world impact.
