Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><h2></h2><h2><strong>Strategic Leadership</strong></h2><ul><li>Design and implement a comprehensive lifecycle support model for Launchpad businesses from incubation through funding and spin-out</li><li>Establish standardized spin-out processes including governance, financial separation, and capital structures</li><li>Develop business processes enabling Launchpad companies to leverage Re:Build's internal capabilities</li><li>Lead capital allocation strategy, investment structuring, transaction support, and due diligence</li></ul><h2><strong>Portfolio &amp; Operations Management</strong></h2><ul><li>Oversee all finance activities for Re:Build's Launchpad portfolio</li><li>Maintain comprehensive records on investments, capital allocation, and performance</li><li>Partner with leadership on portfolio strategy, governance, and board reporting</li><li>Support pricing and commercial deal underwriting for portfolio companies</li></ul><h2><strong>Team Building &amp; Business Partnership</strong></h2><ul><li>Build and lead a high-performing finance team supporting accounting, FP&amp;A, and analytics across multiple entities</li><li>Implement financial systems, reporting infrastructure, and analytics tools tailored to early-stage businesses</li><li>Serve as strategic advisor to Launchpad General Managers, providing meaningful financial analysis and insights</li><li>Provide hands-on strategic and transaction support for key portfolio companies (e.g., Cadonix, Drone)</li></ul><h2><strong>Financial Management</strong></h2><ul><li>Develop budgeting and forecasting processes tailored to early-stage and high-growth businesses</li><li>Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to CFO, executive leadership, and boards</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control frameworks</li><li>Lead quarterly business reviews, board presentations, and investor communications</li></ul><p><strong>What you bring to the Team</strong></p><h2><strong>Experience</strong></h2><ul><li>15-20+ years of progressive finance leadership with demonstrated success building and scaling finance organizations</li><li>CFO or senior finance executive experience in start-up, high-growth, or venture-backed environments</li><li>Track record of supporting new business unit launches, establishing financial rigor from the ground up</li><li>Experience with business transitions, spin-outs, carve-outs, or asset sales</li><li>Background in portfolio management, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development preferred</li><li>History of building and leading high-performing finance teams across multiple sites</li></ul><h2><strong>Skills &amp; Capabilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Strategic finance leader driving financial performance and transformative change</li><li>Experience with investor relations, fundraising, capital structures, and board-level reporting</li><li>Strong business acumen with experience in pricing strategy, commercial analytics, and deal underwriting</li><li>Deep expertise in FP&amp;A with ability to adapt frameworks for businesses at different lifecycle stages</li><li>Diversified P&amp;L management experience (in terms of size, industry, &amp; business model)</li><li>Proficiency implementing financial systems, ERP platforms, and analytics tools</li></ul><h2><strong>Leadership</strong></h2><ul><li>Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing, inclusive teams</li><li>Collaborative leadership style with ability to partner across functional boundaries</li><li>Outstanding communication skills with experience presenting to boards, investors, and executive teams</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments</li></ul><h2><strong>Education</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required</li><li>MBA, or relevant experience preferred</li></ul><h2><strong>Location &amp; Travel</strong></h2><ul><li>Based in office at our Framingham, MA office with 20-30% travel</li></ul><h2>Compensation</h2><p><strong>Compensation:</strong> The anticipated base salary range for this role is <strong>[$180,000 - $270,000]</strong>. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
