Unison continues to expand rapidly and is looking for talented, entrepreneurial people to grow with us. </span></div></div><br><br><h3>The Team:</h3><ul><p>The Real Estate Paralegal will play a key role at Unison.  We seek a real estate professional with an eye for detail who is experienced in multi-jurisdictional practice and will accelerate transactions to closing.  Reporting to the Managing Director, Legal, the paralegal will work remotely full-time from their home office.</p></ul><h3>The Job:</h3><ul><p>Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</p><li>Managing a pipeline of deals across the United States and updating closing checklists and trackers.</li><li>Preparing documents and coordinating the execution of closing packages.</li><li>Conducting due diligence, including reviewing leases, title commitments, site inspections, plats, and surveys.</li><li>Assisting with retrieval of required documentation for real estate transactions.</li><li>Drafting and reviewing legal descriptions.</li></ul><h3>Additional:</h3><ul><div><p>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p><ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, including at mid to large-sized law firm, is required.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required.</li><li>Experience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus.</li><li>Fluent with Office, Sharepoint, Salesforce, GIS and deed plotting software, and equipped to work remotely.</li><p> </p><p>Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.</p><p> </p><p>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:</p><p>The successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture, including:</p><ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Collaborative team spirit.</li><li>A love of adventure and passion for learning.</li></ul></ul></div></ul><br><div>Competitive compensation package with benefits including tax-free health insurance reimbursement (ICHRA), 401k, remote work, paid holidays, and paid time off.</div>
