As part of our growth journey we are looking for a team member to head up our Accounting &amp; finance team.</b><br><br><b>About the Position:</b> </div><div> </div><div>The Vice President, Accounting &amp; Finance position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and accounting operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.</div><div><br><b>Position Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:</b><br> </div><div><div>Planning</div><ul>	<li>As part of the company leadership team, assist in formulating the company's future direction, supporting tactical initiatives and monitoring of implementation</li>	<li>Forecast all financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis</li>	<li>Develop financial and tax strategies</li>	<li>Manage the capital request and budgeting processes</li>	<li>Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism</li>	<li>Identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement</li>	<li>Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.</li></ul><div><b>Operations</b></div><ul>	<li>Participate in key decisions as a member of the company leadership team</li>	<li>Manage the FP&amp;A, tax, and treasury functions</li>	<li>Oversee the company's transaction processing systems</li>	<li>Implement operational best practices</li>	<li>Collaborate with operational team leaders to establish, track, report on and adjust to achieve key performance indicators, including drivers of cost optimization, volume growth and margin expansion</li>	<li>Oversee the issuance of financial reporting to leadership, board and investors on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis</li>	<li>Coordinate external legal vendors and manage insurance providers and negotiations</li>	<li>Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements regarding accounting &amp; finance related matters</li>	<li>Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors, investors and government agencies</li></ul></div><div> </div><div><b>Required Skills and Experience:</b></div><div> </div><div>The candidate should have a degree in accounting or finance or equivalent field with relevant business experience in accounting or finance with 10+ years of progressively responsible experience and minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in similar roles.  Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
