Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage customer service, material ordering, production scheduling (. warehousing and the administration of these activities.
  • Manage customer portals.
  • Monthly reporting of several logistics KPIs (e.g. inventory, delivery performance and customer ratings, freight cost, premium freight, …) and derive actions from that to meet the goals.
  • Maintain an excellent delivery performance and lower inventory levels as much as possible (inventory in % of sales and or Days of Coverage).
  • Manage documentation of the executed processes.
  • Continues improvement Logistics Supplier Development when necessary
  • Assures conformance with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and HSE requirements.
  • Serve as member of the Management Review Steering Committee

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or higher preferred.
  • Five years experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least three years in the automotive industry.
  • Continuous Improvement / Lean Management experience.
  • Good Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Extensive MRP software experience with AS400 / SAP modules MM & SD / respectively.
  • Experience in an automotive working environment and pace.
  • Leadership skills to lead a team of 5 to 10 people.
  • Experience with an international supply chain.
