Water and Waste business unit (WAW) is a true end-to-end business as part of Wärtsilä Portfolio Businesses. WAW is a global leader in designing and supplying innovative wet and dry waste equipment and freshwater generation solutions for passenger vessels & conventional waste management and ballast water treatment equipment for all marine segments. We have now a unique and exciting opportunity for a Service Support Administrator for the Water and Waste business, based in UK, Poole, Dorset. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver timely and accurate administrative services to support field service operations.
  • Maintain and update records and databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with processes.
  • Assist in the coordination of field service activities, facilitating smooth operations.
  • Respond to stakeholder and customer inquiries, providing information and resolving routine issues.
  • Support the implementation of new administrative processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to team efforts by providing assistance and support to colleagues as needed.

 

Requirements for the role:

 

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within field service operations.
  • Strong operational knowledge and understanding of systems, tools, and procedures in your work area.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and organize your own workload to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to handle a wide range of internal and external inquiries.
  • A proactive approach to reviewing and improving current procedures, with a focus on process improvement and operational performance.
