Are you an individual who pays close attention to detail, can handle multiple projects, and contribute to process improvement in a work environment? We are seeking an Industrial Gas Product Coordinator for our Gulf Coast pipeline network. You will join a team of Product Coordinators who are jointly tasked with coordinating the production and distribution of industrial gases throughout our Gulf Coast, which consists of 25 production facilities and over 675 miles of pipeline serving 80+ pipeline customers. Products managed include oxygen, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, syngas, steam and power. You will have primary accountability for a subset of products and customers within our network and will provide backup support to the other Product Coordinators. You will report to the Customer Service Center (CSC) manager and will work closely with business and account managers, operations, maintenance, and other support services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop near term and forward-looking supply strategies and work with the Pipeline Controllers and Operations teams to implement these plans.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for our customers to ensure we meet their needs and improve product supply and actively work to lead planned and unplanned changes in supply and demand.
  • Handle, update, and maintain our suite of production planning and optimization tools used by the Product Coordinators.
  • Support the Technology Team in the continued development on a suite of tools to optimize the pipeline supply to our customers.
  • Report key performance indicators regarding pipeline supply and demand.
  • Support and/or lead the active management of our raw material supply, including natural gas nomination and power management.
  • Assist the CSC and operations teams in identifying causes of undesired performance and developing effective solutions, including leading Root Cause Analysis investigations.
  • Share on-call responsibilities on nights and weekends with the other Product Coordinators to handle supply / demand emergencies on our pipeline system.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Supply Chain is preferred, or 5-10 years of technical experience in the field.
  • Experience in plant/pipeline operation, customer service, and/or sales with direct customer interaction and communications is desired.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, adapt to changing conditions, lead through influence.
  • Ability through excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to deal with customers, business area and operations people.
  • Comfortable working with computers and computational tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Some travel within the Gulf Coast area as necessary to maintain relationships with Operations and Customers.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

  • Monday-Friday Hybrid schedule, 3 days in office, 2 days at home, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Shared On-Call with other Product Coordinators.
  • Must be able to handle working long hours, if required.
