Facility Engineer - Capital Projects Development (M/F)

About this role:

• We are currently looking for our future Facility Engineer to join our Capital Development Projects based at our gigafactory in Bourbourg.
• As such, you are responsible for the design, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, modernization, and protection of physical facilities and equipment (building, power, water, sewer, chemical, piping, ventilation, lighting, space utilization, furniture, controls etc.) used to produce high-quality products at Verkor.

Repsonsibilities:

• Conduct technical project review and prepare written comments, analyses and recommendations
• Manage and implement all phases of new construction and renovation/upgrade projects, including planning, design, construction and commissioning
• Prepare written project documents which may include budgets, staffing, schedules, coordination and other pertinent project information
• Modify existing equipment and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity and cost effectiveness
• Prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects
• Interpret regulatory codes for compliance
• Applying safety instructions at the workstation and wearing PPE, behaving in a safe manner
• Oversee the structural, mechanical, electrical, utilities, site, environmental, and other construction and engineering drawings for the facility
•  Direct consulting engineers, contractors and maintenance personnel during the design and construction phase of facility systems
• Contract with and oversee the activities of various contractors and consultants for the fulfillment of facilities engineering responsibilities

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Engineering field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in related field
• Relevant experience in industrial facilities (Battery, manufacturing, Chemical, Pharmaceutical)
• Fluent in English and French
• Utility sizing and assessments
• Clean & Dryroom environments
• High purity chemical systems
