Job Description

The Opportunity

With over two billion dollars’ worth of work in hand and a healthy pipeline of future projects ahead, our western region is experiencing an exciting period of growth. To help support this growth we are seeking to bring a number of suitably experienced Contracts Administrators into our business to work on major projects within the Perth metro area and regional W.A.

The Role

These roles will be critical in supporting the successful establishment and administration of commercial contracts and agreements for the projects.

Key accountabilities for the position will be:

  • Administer and supervise contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance.
  • Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of contracts.
  • Draft, prepare, and execute internal and external correspondence on contractual matters as required
  • Assist in resolving contract payment disputes and confer with contractors and other business units concerning contract payments and compliance.
  • Perform and/ or review contract payment and audits.
  • Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Ideally but not critical will be Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Law, Commerce or relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse contractual / legal issues and provide solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve. 
  • Excellent communicator who can influence to achieve collaborative outcomes.
