Boundary Stone Partners (BSP) is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. The Associate will support BSP’s Advanced Manufacturing & Supply Chains team, supporting clients as they navigate federal tax, trade, and other policy priorities in front of the federal legislative and executive branches. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team helping to shape federal policy and funding decisions during a pivotal moment for national manufacturing and competitiveness. BSP’s client portfolio ranges from innovative early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

About The Role

The Associate will support BSP’s Advanced Manufacturing & Supply Chains team.

Client Engagement. Under the supervision of BSP principals, the Associate will be responsible for drafting and supporting client-facing materials, managing client agendas and scheduling requests, and working with team leaders on timely client projects.

Content Development and Project Management. The Associate will draft policy memos, legislative analyses, and other client and internal communications. In addition to writing and editing, you’ll work with team leaders on project timelines to support deliverables.

Research and Administrative Support. You will research various issues and monitor developments across the legislative and executive branches, and work with the client teams on various research projects and deliverables. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks including, but not limited to managing scheduling requests with stakeholders, notetaking, and other tasks as assigned.

About You

2+ years of experience, preferably in federal government, policy or corporate government relations in the advanced manufacturing sector (familiarity with solar, battery, and critical minerals a plus).

Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written content in a timely manner and think strategically under pressure.

Ability to work independently but also appreciates working with a team that values collaboration, collegiality, and a sense of humor.

Resourceful and entrepreneurial and not afraid to think outside of the box.

This is a hybrid role, and you are expected to be available to work in the BSP D.C. office at least 3 days a week.
