Role description: To ensure the maximum availability of equipment, including the maintenance and servicing of equipment in line with Aggreko’s procedures. Focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation.

Detailed description: Your Technical expertise will help in maximizing the fleet availability either in depot or on field helping us to improve our customer service. You will be actively involved in day-to-day site activities but not limited to, electrical troubleshooting, Installation & commissioning and other site activities as per the requirement. You will be based in Saudi Arabia. You will be accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation.

Entry level professionals or highly experienced operations/technical/support roles. Typically completed higher education/qualification or requires expert technical operational knowledge of procedures & tools obtained through extensive work experience. Skilled application.  Well experienced and can take the lead. Broad range of work activities. First point of escalation for non-routine situations. Significant personal autonomy and can confidently guide the work of others.

Responsibilities  

  • React effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in timely manner in and out of working hours when required.
  • Respond to major component failure escalations, carry out major component changes and field repairs.
  • Carry out advanced troubleshooting of electrical LV or HV systems
  • Implementation of field campaigns as required.
  • Provide hands on electrical support.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared for hire in compliance with Aggreko ‘Green Card’ procedure.
  • Complete all service-related documentation in line with Aggreko process maps in a timely matter.
  • Lead site installation (designed layout), commissioning and decommissioning to acceptable Aggreko standards if needed.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships and communication on site with clients.
  • Any other duties considered related essential for effective operations and service as requested.

Location: Saudi Arabia

What we’re looking for

  • Specific knowledge in electrical field with relevant experience of electrical & engine controllers/ software like Deepsea, DEIF, impower, Insite etc with ability to read & interpret electrical drawings and Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania Diesel Generator engines.
  • Technically sound, customer focused, and results driven.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work in teams & also on own initiatives – Must be able to complete report legibly.
  • Ability to travel as & when required including both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain.
  • Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
  • Commitment & accountability for compliance to Aggreko Health Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation including internal & external audits.
  • Any other duties considered related essential for effective operations and service as requested.
