- Lead hardware product development from first prototype to full rollout
- Coordinate across Engineering, Procurement & Suppliers to deliver top-tier solutions
- Analyze markets & customer needs to identify innovation opportunities
- Shape and execute product strategies that scale with our growth
- Ensure high-quality hardware through smart component decisions
- Present product progress confidently to leadership, partners & teams
- Build strong internal networks through excellent communication & facilitation

You’re hands-on, tech-driven, and ready to make an impact. You love hardware, think in systems, and thrive at the intersection of tech and product.
We’re looking for:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or Industrial Engineering (BSc/MSc)
- 2+ years experience in IoT or electronics product development
- Solid knowledge of PCBs & electronic components
- First experience in product or project management
- Strong communication & stakeholder skills
- Self-starter mindset with high accountability
- Fluent in English and German
- You are part of an international, dynamic, and highly motivated team of people who have proven to make things happen

Thanks to the intelligent energy management “Heartbeat” and the dynamic electricity tariff “Dynamic Pulse”, 1KOMMA5° always guarantees the cheapest and cleanest electricity from sun and wind. 1KOMMA5° participates in particularly innovative craft businesses in the areas of photovoltaics, electricity storage, charging infrastructure and heat pumps, on the one hand to strengthen regional crafts and on the other hand to enable high-quality advice and installation at the customer's site. 1KOMMA5° currently operates over 65 locations with around 1,500 employees from Europe to Australia. In addition, 1KOMMA5° is working on networking and controlling decentralized generation systems with the aim of fully realizing the potential of the decentralized energy transition. For this purpose, all installed systems become part of a networked IoT platform, which uses algorithms to guarantee optimal, automatic operational management over the life of the system.</p>
