Responsibilities:

• Selection of suitable measuring methods and equipment (tactile, optical, 3D, etc.)

• Creation and maintenance of measurement programs and processes

• Development and optimization of measurement strategies and new measurement methods in close coordination with research and development and production

• Carrying out and documenting measurement system analyses (MSA)

• Analysis and interpretation of measurement results in the context of deviations, root cause analysis and CIP projects

• Participation in the calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment

• Cross-departmental work

Qualifications:

• Completed technical studies, e.g. metrology, physics or similar

• Several years of professional experience in industrial metrology and/or quality assurance and machining

• Very good command of written and spoken English

• Good knowledge of quality methods and statistical procedures

• Very good knowledge of geometric product specification (GPS) and the application of shape and position tolerances (GD&T)

• Independent, structured way of working

• Willingness to travel

• Very good knowledge of MS Office

• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure, high flexibility

• German fluent
