This role will be involved in various aspect of our SEC reporting including the filing of our Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and internal reporting. The person will also be performing accounting research to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules &amp; regulations.</p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks) in Workiva and assist with XBRL review process</li><li>Prepare supporting documentation for SEC filings including tie-out</li><li>Lead the effort to complete the quarterly and annual GAAP disclosure checklist</li><li>Monitor and research new accounting standard pronouncements and SEC disclosure requirements</li><li>Perform U.S. GAAP guidance research and benchmarking against industry peers and provide recommendation</li><li>Assist in the coordination of external audit/quarterly reviews</li><li>Assist with quarterly review of investor relations material</li><li>Monitor SOX controls to ensure compliance</li><li>Maintain corporate reporting calendar and coordinate deliverables</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting operations, Treasury, FP&amp;A, Investor Relations and Legal</li><li>Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline processes</li><li>Work on ad hoc projects</li></ul><p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration</li><li>5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3+ years of big four public accounting experience</li><li>CPA license or a progression toward the license is required</li><li>Experience with Workiva preferred</li><li>Understanding of XBRL/EDGAR filing requirements</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams</li><li>Good understanding of financial statements, U.S. GAAP, and SEC reporting regulations</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word</li><li>Experience with SAP preferred</li><li>Proven ability to prioritize activities and manage workload in a complex fast-paced environment with deadlines</li></ul><p> </p></div><div>This role is based <strong>onsite </strong>in our Newark, CA location with flexibility to work 2 days remotely</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
