And that’s where you come in.Job Description:Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated HSE Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment.This is a 12-month FIFO role based in Pilbara, WA.The primary purpose is to contribute to the HSE team’s goals to influence positive attitudes and behaviours that foster a positive safety culture, ensure continuous improvement and good corporate governance.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Providing technical advice and coaching including safety leadership, risk management, HSE systems, incident investigation, inspection and monitoring, training.</li><li>Conduct audits of project operations, the HSE Management System and its implementation for compliance and continuous improvement.</li><li>Assist with the implementation of control measures to address HSE risk and ensure monitoring and reviews for effectiveness is undertaken.</li><li>Facilitate the communication and consultation of necessary HSE information/ lessons learned, across all sites in the project.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>3+ years’ experience in a high-risk industry; engineering / railway / construction</li><li>Diploma of Work Health and Safety</li><li>Ability to build HSE capability and safety leadership; managers, employees, and contractors</li><li>Ability to influence and drive safe behaviours and performance through building effective relationships and engagement</li><li>Demonstratable knowledge and experience of operating within ISO45001, ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems &amp; AS/NZS is essential</li><li>Highly proficient computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Office suite and other computer programs</li><li>Investigator Qualification</li><li>Agile mindset, able to take prompt decisions in a challenging environment</li><li>Demonstrates perseverance, patience and commitment for long term success</li></ul>At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
