These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.  Job Description  Treasury Assistant RoleFull time, permanentPosition Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Treasury Shared Services team in Chelmsford has responsibility for Teledyne’s UK activities together with other jurisdictions across EMEA, APAC, US and Canada for the DALSA e2v business units.Treasury are responsible for managing the liquidity of over 90 bank accounts across various currencies along with balance sheet currency hedging, intercompany loan interest, payments and bank reconciliations including posting cash and bank administration.This is a fast paced environment requiring efficiency and strong organisation skills, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks effectively and adapt to ad-hoc challenges.You would be office based with a minimum of four days a week on site.Responsibilities<ul><li>Posting cash across numerous entities in various currencies and completing associated bank reconciliations.</li><li>Preparing and co-ordinating payments (on line banking systems).</li><li>Management of mailbox and ad-hoc query resolution.</li><li>Period end activities e.g. bank reconciliations, review and clearance of control accounts etc.</li><li>On line banking systems administration and bank administration e.g. bank mandates.</li><li>Support ad-hoc project work/process and system enhancements.</li><li>Audit queries</li></ul>The above profile is not meant to be an exhaustive list and duties of responsibilities can change to meet the changing needs of our businessQualifications<ul><li>Working towards AAT or accounting experience.</li><li>Strong Excel skills and MS Office skills</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing environment and support others continuous improvement.</li><li>ERP systems experience, ideally, SAP, IFS or XA Infor.</li><li>Good communication skills both oral and written.</li><li>Ability to prioritise tasks, set and achieve deadlines in line with the needs of the business.</li><li>Good teamworking within the team and wider business colleagues.</li><li>Understanding of online banking systems.</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
