The Position:
Join our amazing team, situated across Canada, as a Co-op Tariffs & Duties Analyst. In this research-focused role, you’ll help build a centralized database of global tariff, duty, and regulatory requirements related to imports—and to a lesser extent, exports. You’ll work closely with the regulatory team to identify country-specific requirements and ensure accurate documentation of findings. Ideal for a 3rd or 4th-year student in a registered co-op program, studying Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field with a strong interest in trade compliance and global regulations.
This position is for 16 weeks, starting September 2, 2025.
Job Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Conduct research on tariff and duty regulations across various countries.
- Build and
maintain a structured database of import/export requirements.
- Collaborate with the regulatory team and other stakeholders to validate findings.
- Monitor and document changes in trade regulations and requirements.
- Ensure information is clearly recorded, organized, and accessible for operational use.
- Support broader supply chain and compliance initiatives where needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Enrolled in a registered co-op program and returning to studies after the work term.
- 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary program in Supply Chain, International Business, Global Trade, or a related field.
- Strong research and documentation skills with a high attention to detail.
- Interest in or basic understanding of import/export processes and regulatory environments.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear, organized way.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; database or data organization experience is a plus.
- Collaborative, curious, and able to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team.
